Browser bookmarklet

Clip any web page into Elium from Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

About this integration

Save any web page into Elium from your browser toolbar. Add the bookmarklet once, then click it on any page to save it. Elium cleans and indexes the page automatically. It is handy for keeping press articles, competitor pages, and other web finds in your knowledge base.

Common questions

How do people save a web page without opening Elium?

They add a button to their browser bookmarks bar from their own Elium settings. On any page, one click opens a small window where they choose the space, set the visibility and add tags.

Which browsers does it work in?

Firefox, Chrome and Safari. The bookmarks toolbar needs to be visible before you can drag the button onto it.

Is a saved page searchable afterwards?

Yes. Every saved page is indexed in full text. Elium keeps a cleaned view focused on the content, without the advertising and menus around it, and often stores it as a PDF.

What other ways are there to capture a link?

Pasting the address into Elium, or sending it to a dedicated email address set up by an administrator.
