You set a verification date on an article (a suggested period or a custom date) and Elium tracks it. A badge shows readers the content is current; soon-to-expire and expired articles surface on the owner’s dashboard; and admins get a platform-wide view of everything overdue. Marking content expired never deletes it. It just flags that it needs review.

A static date sits there silently even once it’s wrong. Elium turns the date into a live signal: a trust badge on the article, a colour-coded dashboard, and a count in your navigation, so stale content actively chases its owner instead of waiting to be noticed.

Yes. Space and platform admins can set a default verification period (one month, three months or a year), so every new article published there is automatically scheduled for review. You can still adjust the date on individual articles.

Yes. Thirty days before the verification date the article appears on the owner’s dashboard and they’re notified, so you’re prompted while the information is still reliable, not after it’s already wrong.

Marking an article up to date takes a couple of clicks and is open to all contributors, while space-wide defaults and the platform-wide overview stay with administrators. Day-to-day upkeep is light; governance stays controlled.
