Email pipelines
Send an email to a dedicated address: Elium turns it into a published article.
About this integration
Let your team contribute to Elium by email. Every platform has an email address, and admins can create more with their own rules. Send or forward an email with attachments, and Elium saves it as an article, or as files, depending on the address. It is the simplest way to get content in without opening Elium.
What you get
Contribute by email
Send or forward an email to save it on the platform.
Email to article
A pipeline can turn the subject into a title and attachments into files.
Rules per address
Each address sets its own Space, tags, author, and publish state.
Common questions
Can people publish just by sending an email?
Yes. Every platform has a generic address, and users can forward an email with its attachments to save it.
Can we route emails into a specific space automatically?
Yes. An administrator creates dedicated addresses, each with its own space, tags and contributor, and its own behaviour: keep the whole email, keep only the attachments, or turn the email into an article.
Does emailed content arrive published or as a draft?
You choose per address. Content sent to the generic address arrives as a draft in the sender's personal space.
What stops someone publishing where they should not?
Each address can check the sender's publication rights for the target space before anything is saved.
