Microsoft Teams
Post new articles to Microsoft Teams, and bring Teams files into Elium.
About this integration
Elium works with Microsoft Teams in both directions. When an article is published, updated, or commented on in a linked Space, Elium posts a message to the Teams channel you choose, so people see it where they already work. And the files your team shares in Teams can be added to your Elium articles: as a live preview, or as an indexed native copy that Elium makes searchable. Your team stays in Teams while the knowledge stays findable in Elium.
What you get
Announce in Teams
New, updated, and commented articles in a linked Space post to the channel you choose.
Bring in Teams files
Add files shared in Teams to your articles, as a live preview or an indexed copy.
Keep one source of truth
Every Teams post links back to the source article in Elium.
Common questions
Which events send a message to Teams?
A new article, a new version of an article, and a new comment, for the spaces you have linked.
Can different spaces post to different channels?
Yes. You link a space to a team and a channel, and you can create as many links as you need or remove one at any time.
Who can set it up?
A system administrator, who also needs the matching rights in Teams. The settings sit in the Lab tab of the admin panel, under Advanced.
What does this integration send?
Notifications from Elium into a Teams channel. To bring content the other way, into Elium, teams generally use the browser extension or a dedicated email address.
