Common questions
Does OneDrive content become searchable in Elium?
Only if you import it. An import is indexed and searchable. A preview keeps the file in OneDrive and is not indexed, so it stays out of search and out of AI answers.
If someone edits the original, does Elium follow?
A preview shows the current version, because the file stays in OneDrive. An imported file is a copy, and it does not change when the original does.
Do we have to connect an account?
Yes, once. You connect your OneDrive account the first time you add a file or folder, then choose preview or import each time after that.
Can we bring across a whole tree at once?
Yes. A system administrator runs bulk imports, and no limit is set on the number of documents.
